1. Introduction
The Truck Lighting DocType is used to manage and document the inspection of lighting systems on trucks. It provides a structured way to assess the condition of lights, allowing for detailed remarks and tracking of inspection results.
2. Accessing the Truck Lighting
Log in to the VSD Fleet Management System using your credentials.
Navigate to the VSD Fleet MS module from the main dashboard.
Select Truck Lighting from the list of available DocTypes.
3. Understanding the Interface
The interface consists of several fields to capture essential information regarding truck lighting inspections:
Lighting Field: This field allows users to specify the type of lighting being inspected.
Mark Checkbox: A checkbox to mark the entry for follow-up or special attention, defaulting to unchecked.
Remarks Field: A text field for entering any specific comments or notes about the lighting inspection.
4. Adding a New Lighting Entry
Click on the New button to create a new lighting inspection entry.
Fill in the Lighting field with the relevant information about the lighting being inspected.
Check the Mark checkbox if this entry requires special attention.
Enter any additional notes or comments in the Remarks field.
Click Save to store the new entry.
